What gets
asked a lot.

Sorted by cluster — before booking, logistics, drinks, payment, emergencies. If your question isn't here: just drop me a line.

01 · Before booking
Up to 500 km from Schwerin. The first 30 km are free, then € 0.50/km up to 150 km, € 0.55/km up to 500 km. From 300 km onwards an overnight stay is added (€ 90).
Within 48 hours with a concrete quote — personally, no auto-mailer.
Yes, by arrangement. A personal meeting is possible at any time — you try both beans, develop your taste and arrange a cupping with Maximilian. Ideal for wedding couples 6+ months before the date. Just drop me a line — I'll find a slot.
02 · Logistics & on-site
A power outlet 230 V / 16 A (standard Schuko) within a 10 m radius. A level standing area of approx. 2.5 × 2 m. For outdoor: a pavilion or weather-protected area. One contact person on the day (name + mobile shared at least 14 days beforehand).
I never set up without protection. A pavilion or tent from the client is a requirement at outdoor events. If the weather turns last minute, I'll help find a plan B — but the equipment has to stay dry.
200 × 80 cm standing area for the bar itself. Including working distance: approx. 250 × 200 cm. Plus a back-of-bar area for water tanks and rubbish (1 m deep).
03 · Drinks & menu
Espresso, doppio, cappuccino, flat white, hot chocolate. Both house beans available: Costa Rica Robelo (fruity) and Klarheit Espresso (nutty). Oat milk and cow's milk unlimited.
All drinks are gluten-free. Vegan: oat milk and cow's milk by default. No hidden animal-milk powders or syrups. We're happy to accommodate specific allergies — just let us know.
I don't suddenly stop. Extra consumption is recorded by tally and billed with the final invoice: € 3.00 per espresso drink, € 2.50 per filter coffee. Calculation base: 1.5 drinks per guest.
04 · Timing & sequence
Set-up approx. 60–90 min before service starts. For large events (Large package) up to 2 hours. Dismantling takes 45–60 min after the end. I arrive on time.
Yes, at every event. For the Large package a second barista joins. A stand-in is only for absolute emergencies (illness) and always agreed with you beforehand.
05 · Payment
A 30 % deposit at booking secures the date bindingly. The remainder is due 14 days after the event by bank transfer. Cash or card on-site only by prior arrangement.
I'm a small business under §19 UStG (German VAT law). No VAT is shown on the invoices, so you can't claim input tax either.
06 · Cancellation & rescheduling
Up to 30 days before the event: only the deposit is forfeited. Less than 30 days before: the full flat rate (100 %) becomes due, because the date can no longer be rebooked. A one-time date change up to 30 days beforehand is free.
07 · Edge cases & hiccups
I have backup solutions on-site. If something does go wrong, I offer filter coffee or tea as a replacement on request. Such cases are very rare — and I tell you honestly when something goes wrong, rather than covering it up.
An experienced barista partner is on standby for emergencies. In case of serious illness, the force-majeure clause applies: refund of the deposit minus documented expenses. So far I've never had such a case.
